  • Jaan Pehchan Ho – Concept Music Video

This concept production was a perfect window into the personalities of our couple, Rishi and Jehan. Although they are both busy professionals with schedules that don’t allow for an excess of leisure time, the key to their success is the manner in which they wholeheartedly delve into the tasks before them. Much like the roles they have in reality, these two jumped into their characters with energy, spirit and a rocking sense of fun.

With a vintage flair, the choice of filters in this feature reflected the roaring era of the 60’s, notorious for that famous swiveling of the hips known popularly as the “Twist”. It’s a dance move that lights up the screen in this little number. Of course, no concept film is quite complete without its costume and location changes, props and in this case- even instruments! The couple made sure that the selected song would be enhanced by the use of these, and the result was nothing short of nostalgic.

We can assure you this was one for the books. Indeed, the couple had as much fun making this video as it looked!

  • Concept Film: Dil Milay Na Milay – exclusively written, composed & performed for the couple

Whether it’s a wedding film or a concept film, we are always striving to produce something original for our couples. In the past we have done bollywood based performances, medleys, music video, short films and even a mafia based stories. As you may have seen on our blog below, recently, we have produced a stop motion animation film for a couple.

However, before that we did another concept film for Alia & Zuhair that featured a unique element. We exclusively wrote a song based on couple’s personality and had a professional and well recognized band Swaras compose and perform it. The song is entitled “DIL MILAY NA MILAY”

You can also watch Alia and Zuhair’s Next Day Edit, over here>/a>.

  • Concept Film: Let’s Explore London

As we travel through the world to produce concept and wedding films for couples, one thing that stays consistent in our experiences is the tourist observation. We always want to integrate a bit of that in our concept films but including the couple’s story or personality being the integral part.

During the last eight months, we skyped with Ayesha and her fiance over a dozen times to get to know their story and personality. At times, it was a challenge for us to come up with something unique that reflects them as well. In our countless conversations, one aspect that stood out the most was their busy careers and travelling schedule. They traveled quite a lot for their work, one thing they never did together was explore London. And we took that very basic idea and turned into something very entertaining that we feel is a look inside London.

  • Concept Music Video ‘Babe, Marriage?’

    https://vimeo.com/48779723

Our entire business model is based on word of mouth. And it’s always nice to hear that a couple saw our films somewhere online or someone’s house or simply at the wedding.

Jesleen and Jihad’s case is no different. Having seen our work at another wedding 2 years back, they came to us 18 months ago to inquire about August 25th, 2012 weekend. As always, we discussed their wedding and also an idea for a concept film. We didn’t really have anything concrete in mind but after few meetings, they presented us an idea of doing a dance music video on one of their favourite songs ‘Let’s Get Married’ by Jagged Edge.

We took that idea and incorporated their interests like sky diving, rollerblading as well as a mix of Arabic, Chinese and Indian cultures.

We will let the concept music video do the rest of the talking.

  • Concept Music Video: ‘Babe, Marriage?’ – Teaser Trailer

Instead of giving details, all I will say is that this is the teaser trailer to Jesleen + Jihad’s Concept Music Video ‘Babe, Marriage?’ The full video was shown just before their entrance this past weekend. Expect full details once the full video is posted

  • Destination – Punta Cana – Fiona + Ricky – Official Trailer – Part 2

Before I talk about the couple or the wedding, let me clearly explain the “Part 2″ in the title. Ricky & Fiona had another wedding a month before this one in Toronto (we will be showcasing that eventually). That will be “Part 1″. Just wanted to show the sequel before the original:)

It is very rare that we get last minute bookings but whenever we do, most of the time, they turn out to be an amazing experience. Having seen our work at Saif + Somi’s wedding, Ricky & Fiona immediately decided to avail our services for both their local and destination weddings.

In almost every relationship, there is always one person who is more energetic or outgoing than the other one until of course with time, they both become very similar. In this case, Ricky is the more up beat and always looking for an adventure. Fiona on the other hand is a little different but is willing to tag along with all of Ricky’s crazies ideas.

We were in Punta Cana’s Majestic Elegance resort for almost a week and the wedding festivities occurred for almost a day. The rest of the time, the bridal party spent their time at the beach, pool and outdoor activities.

Although, we try to differentiate as much as possible from our previous works, here, we tried to make this an extremely different film.

    We hope you enjoy it

  • Vadiyyan (Valleys) – Concept Film – (Filmed in Norway)

We have always been blessed to work some of the most amazing couples around the world. Whether you call it pure luck or simply a perfect connection or whatever else, one thing is certain. It would never be possible if we didn’t have thorough consultations with them.

Ambreen and Javed contacted us from Oslo, Norway to cover their wedding in July of this year. They emailed us and as always our first response before anything was, let’s skype. And that we did. We video conferenced for good 45 minutes and learned about their story, explained our side of things and so on.

That then lead dozens of email discussions and few more skype meetings. During all this, Ambreen and Javed also showed desire for using our services to a create a concept film around their story and the scenic Norway.

It took us 3-4 days to film this concept film entitled Vadiyyan and then we literary had 1 day to put it all together, so it can be shown as an introduction video on their shaadi day

Ambreen, Javed and our team literary spent 9 out of 10 days together in Norway and we had a great time. We went to some beautiful locations including their university where they first met. We did takes after takes but despite having met us for just few days, Ambreen and Javed did a terrific job in putting their creative side in front of camera. Part of it also worked because we portrayed who they were not someone else and that’s so important when making a concept or wedding film.

  • Vadiyyan – Teaser

What happens when a couple gets together to get married in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

This is the teaser of Javed & Ambreen’s concept film. The Concept Film will be online on July 12th followed by Next Day Edit.

    Stay tuned.

  • The Poem / Kavita – Featuring Swaras

Arsh + Ronnie approached us last year for their wedding coming up in May of 2012 in Toronto. However, since Ronnie is originally from Vancouver, the engagement party was held there back in October.

Aside from using our services for their wedding day, they also wanted to create a concept short showcasing their home cities (Vancouver & Toronto) as well as their affection for each other. That whole idea gave birth to “The Poem/Kavita”.

Every couple’s story is unique and we feel it should be told in a unique way. To date, we have done bollywood music videos, short film with mafia theme, vintage silent short film and bollywood medley etc.

With Ronnie and Arsh, we wanted to try something out of the box as well. As always we went below the surface of their story and relationship. Once brainstorming became intense, we came up with a concept that will be filmed in Toronto and Vancouver. So what if it’s in Vancouver and Toronto? Sure it’s different but it needs to be unique.

That’s when we realized that there is no other way of telling their story than in the form of a Poem. And we did. We wrote a poem exclusively for them and their story. To take it one step further, we decided to hire a talented band “Swaras” to narrate and produce it. And boy did they do a fantastic job.
And to top it all, when we showed it at the reception, there was pin drop silence.

  • The Paper Cranes – A Silent Short Film

Every time a couple books us for a concept film along with their wedding, our goal is either to tell their story with visuals or use certain elements in their personalities and interests in the project. The case was no different with Aman + Parv.

Aman is one of the rare creative brides we have come across. She did some incredible stuff for her wedding outfits and decor (I will talk about that during her wedding film). Among many of her creative talent, Aman loves to paint and make paper cranes hence we decided to create short film around that. After we started talking and began to grind out details about their story and personality, we started to add elements of their interest in locations and story.

  • The Paper Cranes Teaser – A Silent Short Film

The Paper Cranes is a silent short film, a story told without a single word of dialogue. This one-minute teaser offers a first glimpse of it.

    This is the Story of…
    Boy Sees Girl…
    Boy Likes Girl…
    But Girl Likes…
    The Paper Cranes
