  • MAHI VE- Thank You 2013-2015 Couples // Welcome 2016 Couples

As part of our tradition, we welcome to you to witness some of our amazing couples between the year 2013-2016. 3 months in the making, this 6 minute piece took us lots of planning, resources and story boarding. In the end, it was very difficult to leave out some other amazing moments and clips but here is the best of the best.

  • Slow-Motion Booth at Sachin + Anu – Wedding – Same Day Edit

Sachin + Anu’s beautiful reception wrapped up last weekend with a Grand Party, Midnight Poutine Truck and Slow Motion Booth. Their guests were not only treated to some immense fun in super slow motion but also to a Same Day Edit. While the Slow Motion Booth continued to be a huge hit, we were able to put together a Same Day Edit that was played at Midnight sharp. We hope you enjoy it.

If you are looking to entertain your guests with some never ending fun, send us an e-mail contact@filmstyleweddings.com to find out how we can set up a Slow Motion Booth at your Reception

  • Sachin + Anu – Next Day Edit

When you are in a business where friends can evolve into family, and work is as a result, absolute fun- couples like Anu and Sachin become the benchmark of professional experience- wonderful, good-hearted, loving people whose special moments are a privilege to capture.

For us, it is not uncommon for us to cover multiple couples’ weddings in a family. In this particular tightly knit network of family and friends, Anu and Sachin are close to the tenth couple whose union we have captured. Look closely, and you may even notice a few of our specially placed cameos of familiar lovebirds and now, their little ones!

This bride and groom are part of a circle of individuals who love as fully as they live. The couple’s wedding events resonated with this very abundance of spirit.

The decor was classy, tasteful and full of delicate florals and color- a great job as always by one of Toronto’s top decor savants, Raj Matharu of Dream Party Decor.

From the Mehndi to Reception, laughter filled the air. The Sangeet featured some beautifully heartfelt performances by friends and relatives, a true way to pay homage to the sweet couple. Anu’s entrance was especially emotional, and the groom was all eyes (and a few tears), as his bride made her way to him. In this business, it is often the groom’s reaction that is worth a thousand words. It was a moment that neither Anu or Sachin will quickly forget.

What a great way to launch the wedding season, and always a pleasure when the couples are not just clients, but great friends. Be sure to stay tuned as well for our Slow Motion Booth Video from their reception coming out this Saturday April 23rd at 8 am right here.

  • Rohit + Angelee – Luxurious Wedding – Next / Same Day Edit

One of the most exquisite and elegant weddings of 2015 took place during the blistering heat of August. Rohit + Angelee’s wedding festivities were full of mesmerizing colors, majestic set ups and unforgettable moments.

From the breathtaking performances of Angelee’s sisters at Sangeet to the crazy groomsmen at the Baraat, every event unfolded with it’s own beauty.

The events were a constant visual feast for each and every guest. The jewelry, the outfits, the stationery and favors composed of deep jewel tones pervaded many of the feature accents in this wedding.

That being said, details alone do not complete a wedding. There were plenty of all the other ingredients that make up this list: lots of music, dancing, delicious food and most importantly love. As plainly as it is seen in this Next/Same Day Edit, Rohit & Angelee were married in regal style, surrounded by the love of their family and friends.

And to top it all, they hired some of the best Creative Masters for their wedding who delivered beyond expectations.

  • Aseem + Hargunn – Wedding Film

Aseem and Hargunn’s wedding was an example of how a couple can bring their families together in celebration of their life most important event.

Things kicked off a day before with a Sangeet with some beautiful decor from Elegance Decor. They crafted a stage that reflected that of couple’s personality and created beautiful mini lounges for guests to sit and mingle at. The Sangeet was fun filled event with a striking entrance by the bride Hargunn. Aseem on the other did what a true gentleman would do. He made sure that he got out of the comfort of his seat and stage and greeted his bride to be. A very sweet touch and guests loved that. To top it all there were some breath taking skits and performances by families and friends on both sides.

The bride and groom had helpfully complementary personalities. Throughout the entire wedding process, Hargunn was calm and collected while Aseem was brimming with energy, enthusiasm and a little bit of stress:) And that’s because he made sure that not a single shred of it fell on Hargunn’s lap.

Aside from the fact that there were many phenomenal elements to their wedding, not to mention, the beautiful ceremony and elegant reception. Normally Ceremonies start in the morning with reception taking away most part of the evening. In this case, things ran a little different which was nice for a change. The ceremony commenced in the evening as the reception ran way past midnight. Regardless of that every guest was attentive and involved in every step of the way.

Truly deserving of marital happiness and success, we wish Aseem & Hargunn much joy and a continued sense of adventure as they journey through life together.

  • Simran + Mani – Next/Same Day Edit

Every bride wants her wedding to be uniquely special and memorable. There wee weddings that stand out because of their breathtaking decor, while others are for a delicious menu and then there are those weddings that are just specialbecause of the love shared between the couple and their families.

Simran + Mani’s wedding was memorable because it so beautifully encompassed each of these components, if not more.

One thing that stood out the most was Simran’s breathtaking outfits for each of her event. From her engagement to sangeet followed by ceremony and two receptions, each of her outfit was different. She pretty much wowed all present. Her desire to do something creative was demonstrated at every event.

Ultimately, what made Simran + Mani stand out as a couple was their strength of confidence and attention to detail, as this Next / Same Day edit illustrates. Mani’s calm, collected demeanor is the perfect balance to Simran’s bubbly personality. In our opinion, this couple had an ideal harmony of elements to make their wedding definitely worth remembering.

  • Vikas + Shikha – Next / Same Day Edit

Vikas and Shikha had one of those timeless, feel-good weddings with all of the right ingredients to make it a classic; colorful details, planned surprises and sweeping amounts of love were the focal points of their events.

Both the bride and groom come from a tightly woven circle of family and friends and their participation in the couple’s wedding was a testament to how special they are to them. The bride’s sisters played an important role in the organization of each function, so a note to all of the prospective brides out there- believe it or not, you don’t have to do it ALL by yourself for it to be perfect. Sometimes, as in Shikha’s experience, your loved ones know you best.

Vikas too, is fortunate to be surrounded by a group who dotes on him. His groomsmen were constantly by his side, ensuring all went smoothly under their careful watch. From setting the tone for Vikas’ debonair entrance in a Lamborghini to their knack for cracking jokes to punctuate those rare but golden moments of pre-wedding jitters. That nervousness did not last for long however. Take one look at the adoring gaze Vikas captures his bride in as she makes her way down the aisle toward him- these are the moments that make our job so much more worth it.

It was a pleasure working with this terrific couple and their loving family and we wish them all of the best as they progress into the next exciting chapter of their lives together. Our cameras are ready when you are!

  • Ritu + Hardip – Next / Same Day Edit

The wedding of Ritu + Hardip was a loving event filled with warm moments between friends and family. There was a mutual understanding between the bride and groom, for even its tiniest details spoke volumes about who they were as a couple.

The couple exchanged smiles and chatted during their separate entrances in the gurdwara which is a rarity. Elegant, stunning and full of heart- from colours and decor to the beautiful outfits of their wedding party- it was evident that Ritu and Hardip cared just as much about those dearest to them.

The couple made sure that everyone was included and enjoying themselves as much as they did. Ritu and Hardip were married with the greatest blessing, the overwhelming warmth and support of two very loving families.

Overall, sense of family was very much felt and celebrated by all present, and the jesting and merriment did not cease for a moment not even between the best friend and the bride.

  • Rishi + Radhika – Next / Same Day Edit

Weddings, you say? Well, they are all about the bride of course!

These days, not so much. Times are changing, grooms- to-be are becoming a much more heard and important voice in the wedding planning process, and why not- it is just as much their day to shine. In the case of Rishi and Radhika, it might have very well seemed as if it was all about the groom, and to add even more of a plot twist for our readers, Radhika was loving every minute of her groom’s spotlight. Who says brides don’t know how to share the glory of their moment?

Rishi and Radhika’s union is especially dear to me, as I have known Rishi for almost 6 years. He has been a guest at numerous weddings that our team has worked over the years and we have covered such a large number of weddings within his own family that I seem to have lost track after the eighth

This couple possesses a very balanced dynamic that helped them tremendously with the stress that often accompanies preparing for the big day. Vibrant and full of energy, Rishi was an enthusiastic perfectionist when it came to making sure that all of the details would seamlessly come together for the events. Radhika was always on hand, calm and collected, and readily available to assure Rishi that while events are rarely ever 100% of the way you expect, they are always entirely yours to make the best of. In that vein, they are only a disappointment if you allow them to be. Rishi is lucky to have such a wise lady by his side.

With my utmost love and respect, I would like to wish this special couple only the best that married life has to offer, and I have a hunch that I will be seeing them very soon, again.

  • CK + Robin – Next Day Edit

Last year, CK & Robin approached us to capture their wedding festivities in August of 2015. From our initial consultation to further meetings, one of the things that we noticed with both the groom and the bride was their calmness and honesty. And those two traits truly makes matters much easier not only for us but for the couple as well.

Their wedding was full of elegance and character but the most important aspect was family. At all the events, there was a sense of compromise between every individual. It was as if the families had an understanding of respect and love. The highlight from their pre wedding events was how CK proposed to Robin which was followed by him sweeping her off her feet. That beautiful moment is featured in the Next Day Edit.

But we feel the element that really stood out in their wedding was their regal and stunning outfits. Gone are the days when a bride was the one who dressed like a queen. Nowadays the tides are shifting towards grooms and CK made sure that he matched perfectly with his beautiful bride. Along with the matching outfits, they carried themselves in a sophisticated manner.

As always in order to reflect the couple’s personality properly, we always turn towards the music as a source of inspiration. And the choice here blends perfectly with them or so we think 😉

  • Bhavi + Nina – Next/ Same Day Edit

In affairs such as weddings, while it is much easier said than done, things are likely to go a great deal smoother if there is a general sense of calm about the place. (This can also greatly add to your value as a bridesmaid or groomsman if you manage to do this for your highly anxious bride and/or groom- rack up those brownie points and make it count that they chose you!)

Such was the case with Bhavi and Nina’s wedding weekend, inclusive of pre-wedding events and finally two completely different ceremonies, all in the same day. It helps of course, that our bride and groom were completely trusting in the entire process and confident that they were surrounded by the best quality of family, friends and vendors to share in and contribute to their big day.

The wedding was a combination of Sikh and Hindu traditions and with a lot of careful and thoughtful coordinating, each ceremony took place at its respective temple in one day. The functions were intimate, respectfully planned and equally solemn- a noteworthy tribute to who Bhavi and Nina are as individuals and the kind of balanced union upon which they have embarked.

Not only did this couple know to expect the best from their day, but they knew how to travel in high style as well. A shiny white Maybach was their impressive method of travel for the day, and truth be told/ the first day of the rest of their lives, never looked better.
