  • Anisha + Kushal – ‎An Indian Fiesta‬ – Destination Mexico

Those of us who are fortunate (crossing fingers) enough to be familiar with big- fat- Indian weddings, know that even destination weddings can turn out to be an elaborate affair. Typically, anywhere between 70-100 guests at a destination wedding can start to feel a little large. This one was An Indian Fiesta. Our adventurous bride and groom, Kushal and Anisha, had 170 guests fly in from all over the world to romantic Cancun, Mexico where they had their wedding at the dreamy, adults-only, Le Blanc Spa Resort.

While a planner is an invaluable resource in these types of scenarios, Kushal and Anisha, despite having to coordinate from afar, were completely involved in the planning process with the wedding planner. From the catering, to florals and off-site itineraries – they took just as much interest to ensure impeccable service and a most memorable weekend for their dear ones.

The group’s mood was buoyant and playful. Warm sunshine, powdery-soft sands and turquoise waters in their welcoming abundance, only added to the constant fun and laughter of the weekend. The choice of a pool party for the guests was a refreshing and creative take on standard pre-wedding activities. Not to mention, it was a visual feast of exotic colors and flavors that left other resort guests drooling at the majesty which is indian wedding tradition. Among many things, one of our favourites was the bride’s choice in Proteas Bouquet for her Wedding.

To this bride and groom, wedding film was extremely important and they wanted us to capture their special days in a story driven manner. We proceeded to take the exciting narrative of that weekend and incorporated some unique visual and sound elements that would help to illustrate the storybook feel of their fairy tale that came to life. Against a backdrop of crashing waves, under clear, open skies, and in the environs of a most unconditional love, we have the privilege of presenting to you- the spirited union of Kushal and Anisha.

  • Concept Film: Remembering Paris

Why is Paris called City of Love? There are dozens of ways to explain that but the universal reason is because this is where each year millions of people come to spend romantic time. Most of them are married or in a relationship or about to get engaged. But then there are those rare cases where people meet for the first time and fall in love to be married.

Samir & Susan who’s background is from India reside in United States and Paris. Samir is a Car enthusiast who makes his living by running a website for a small community in Alabama. On the contrary, Susan moved to Paris to continue her studies. So how did they meet in Paris? By meeting online first. Both met online and chatted not long before they decided to meet.

We spent countless hours on Skype with them. The purpose was simple. Not only to understand their story but to learn more about them as a couple before we traveled to India for their wedding.

This past December, our crew flew down to Paris with the couple to film ‘Remembering Paris’. Coming up soon is their wedding film, that was shot in Bangalore, India.

  • ‘Being Competitive’ – A Concept Film – Sajnoor + Emanjit

Our job always becomes a little bit easier when creative couples or those already in the industry approach us for their wedding related events. Hence, the case of Saj & Em. Saj is a professional photographer who runs PhotoKitch.

Saj + Em recently got engaged and organized a 700 people engagement party in a matter of weeks. And after finalizing venue and other details, they came to us 10 days before their engagement event. It’s one thing for us to book an event and another to do a little concept film within a week. We are a firm believer of anything is possible as long as resources are there but to have 10 days to come up with a concept, film it and then edit it is pushing a little. And we told that to Saj and Em but their motto was that they have do this whatever it takes.
With a very little planning and developing the concept as we filmed, it was a unique task to achieve.
